Congratulations to Steven & Katie who got married at Rosslea Hall Hotel, Rhu. This was a wedding with a Canadian twist but also if you’re looking for a wedding resembling a fairy story this was it! They met on a Walt Disney cruise, with Steven working as a Safety Officer on the ship and Katie (a Disney Rep.) dressed as a Disney princess and … of course they fell in love! One of those couples that are kind, charismatic, and incredibly enjoyable to be around, Steven & Katie smile constantly and their positive energy was seriously infectious. Two beautiful people, a beautiful story, a beautiful setting, beautiful details and even gorgeous weather, were all the Hallmarks of this wedding – what more could a photographer ask for!?
The parents were also determined to get involved, which was also one of my favourite parts about the wedding, with Katie’s dad undertaking to learn the bagpipes to play at the meal. Also in keeping with Scottish tradition the couple included ‘tying the knot & passing the ring’ as part of the ceremony. Of course later on there was dancing in abundance.
Steven & Katie are two of the kindest people you could ever care to meet, ‘super-sweet’, lots of fun and very much in love. Katie was the most elegant, stunning bride and was just full of so much joy the entire day. With all of Steven & Katie’s wedding taking place at the hotel we knew we would have great scope for plenty pictures in the grounds.
