Ingliston Country Club Wedding photographer Rachel and Justin

Rachel and Justin were married last year at Ingliston country club . In a new style blog I’ve left it to Rachel and Justin to describe their wedding day in their own words starting with the proposal.

THE WEDDING VENUE – INGLISTON COUNTRY CLUB

We had been to previous weddings there and it was always so classy and elegant… it needed little decoration and the layout suited us perfectly for a larger party…. ps the wedding events team at ingliston country club is amazing!!

THE PROPOSAL

Me and Justin met nearly 9years ago in the Playdrome, he says I stalked him (he’s a liar). He proposed after 8yrs…. whilst I was unpacking my ASDA shop… needless to say it took me by surprise but I loved it, unexpected and private – just me and him x

THE WEDDING DRESS

My dress was from Eleganza... NOT what I would have chosen beforehand but I cried when I tried it on… I can’t thank Francesca enough for helping me! Really did find my dream dress!

THE WEDDING THEME AND STYLE

I chose sunflowers as my theme… a little bit of colour in a winter wedding! My grandparents used to make me and all my cousins grow sunflowers every year and whoever had the tallest won… they make me smile x

ANY TIPS TO BRIDES CURRENTLY PLANNING THEIR WEDDING?

“Relax and enjoy it! Please please take a moment, I did during dinner, and look at how much everyone is enjoying themselves! You and your new hubby organised this day!! Be proud x”

THE GROOM AND GROOMSMENS SUITS

The boys found their kilts in Totally Tartan in Loch Lomond Outlets Alexandria! Stewart dressed them all on the morning of the wedding so it was a weight lifted!!

HOW DID YOU FEEL WALKING DOWN THE AISLE AND DURING THE SERVICE?

I was nervous/emotional… desperate to see my groom! It was a lovely experience… everyone you love in the one room happy to celebrate with you!
